Not every group home in Las Vegas is properly licensed. Under Nevada law, a home also cannot advertise itself as “assisted living” unless it holds a separate assisted living endorsement on top of its base license.

Eligibility
Who Qualifies for Admission to a Senior Group Home?
Life1 Care Home is built for seniors who need daily support in a small, home-like setting rather than a large institutional facility. A group home for seniors is typically the right fit for someone who:
Needs help with bathing, dressing, or meals
Requires medication reminders or supervision
Is living with early to moderate dementia or memory loss
Needs 24/7 supervision and care for safety
Would benefit from consistent, familiar caregivers
Wants a smaller home instead of a large facility
Nevada assesses group home residents under two care categories. Your assessment during Step 5 confirms which category applies and whether our staffing and license cover it.
Ambulatory
Able to move independently to safety in an emergency.
Non-Ambulatory
Requires assistance to move to safety in an emergency.
